About Me

Hey guys! My name is Mackenzie, and in case you haven't realized it yet, I love photography. In my junior year of high school, I started looking into possibilities for my future. College just didn't appeal to a gal who really savors the idea of getting married and raising a troop of kids. So, at my Mom's suggestion, I grabbed her beautiful camera (one if Dad's best Christmas presents EVER!) and starting snapping away. There was a lot of trial and error, not to mention the difficult task of convincing my siblings to be my subjects so I could practice and begin building a portfolio. I'm still far from perfect, but I learned that the best pictures are rarely perfect; the best pictures capture real moments that show the real you!
